Why in the world did we choose that crazy name?

We love movies and music. In researching the history of Jazz, our Editor-in-cheif, Bud, flipped over the notion that BeBop musicians such as Charlie ‘yardbird’ Parker, Thelonious Monk, and Miles Davis would compose on the spot, jumping from one theme to the next, inserting soul-stirring chords and novel rhythms, and the band wouldn’t miss a beat.

Much like those pioneering musicians, we enjoy weaving themes together in the form of critical reviews. Creating novel ways to look at a work by dissecting the piece, expanding on its ideas by drawing from other aspects of life, and offering our opinions.
